Castle Biosciences Inc. is growing, and we are looking to hire a Clinical Research Scientist working from our laboratory in Pittsburgh, PA @ Nova Place location, with a start date on or before June 19, 2025.

The Clinical Research Scientist is responsible for assay and protocol development, validation, and data development; laboratory optimization projects; assisting with clinical and research-related tasks; performing multiplexed immunofluorescent labeling and digital imaging, and image analysis. This role will spend the most time on immunofluorescent labeling, digital imaging and image analysis, and data collection and analysis (bioinformatics or computational biology experience preferred).

REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biology, or Clinical Laboratory Science with 4-7 years of research or development experience.
  • OR Master's degree in Chemistry, Biology, or Clinical Laboratory Science with 3-5 years of research or development experience.
  • OR PhD in Chemistry, Biology, or Clinical Laboratory Science with 1-2 years of research or development experience.
  • Proven technical skills, scientific creativity, ability to collaborate effectively, and independent thinking.
  • At least 4 years of laboratory experience in high complexity testing with QA training, or 2 years of clinical QA experience.

SCHEDULE/TRAVEL

• Full-time, 8-hour day (07:30 am - 4:00 pm, Monday-Friday)
• Minimal travel initially may be required for training.

Salary Range: $70,000 - $90,000. Salary Range is based on Experience and Education levels. + 20% Bonus Potential
