- Subject matter expert in all disciplines of land management (Caltrans relocations, Relocations, Grant Outs, Consents, Quitclaims, 851 Filings, SCE Capital projects, etc.)
- Ability to manage and negotiate high level, politically sensitive, technically complex land related projects, while working under pressure and managing competing priorities
- Train and provide oversight to less seasoned land agents.
- Lead office and field meetings with developers/property owners/internal departments
- Interpret contract provisions and resolve disputes with both internal and external stakeholders, prepare cost estimates, contracts, and other land related documents and agreements.
- Ensures compliance to policy and procedure in uncertain and complex situations.
- Perform field inspections and meet with private parties and/or local governments to research/resolve property issues or gather information.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Responsibilities
- Ensures that real estate and facilities services are performed and delivered in accordance with contracts, proposals and strategies.
- Provides technological support for buildings, ensuring that they are maintained and running well. Identifies and implements ways to drive optimal facility utilization.
- Ensures all facilities and programs are operated and maintained in alignment with established standards and procedures.
- Recommends capital improvements and operational changes for existing facilities to further corporate sustainability initiatives.
- Contributes to the development of standards and procedures of the business based on knowledge of evolving customer needs.
- Conducts financial and business analysis including the preparation of reports and participates in forecasting and preparing budgets.
- Assists with the development and implementation of goals, objectives, policies, procedures and work standards for the business unit.
- A material job duty of all positions within the Company is ensuring the protection of all its physical, financial and cybersecurity assets, and properly accessing and managing private customer data, proprietary information, confidential medical records, and other types of highly sensitive information and data with the highest standards of conduct and integrity.
Minimum Qualifications
- Seven or more years of experience in Real Estate Licensing, Real Estate Acquisitions, Right of Way or Real Property Transactions.
- Possess a valid Class C Driver's License.
Preferred Qualifications
- Project Manager Professional, Real Estate Broker/Agent, IRWA Right of Way Professional, Senior Right of Way Professional or other professional real estate certification preferred.
- Experience working with Microsoft Office productivity tools including Excel, Access, PowerPoint, GoogleEarth Pro and LandVision.
- Demonstrated broad knowledge of Right-of-Way land management disciplines (e.g., relocation, consent, grant outs, title, 851 Process, etc.), and administration and negotiation of right of way contracts/agreements on complex and politically sensitive transactions.
- Integrate work across relevant areas, manage information, and provide exceptional service to internal and external customers.
- Resource and project planning, decision making, results delivery, and the ability to stay current with relevant technology and innovation.
Additional Information
The positions work mode is hybrid. The employee will report to an SCE facility for a set number of days with the option to work remotely on the remaining days. Unless otherwise noted, employees are required to work and reside in the state of California. Further details of this work mode will be discussed at the interview stage. The work mode can be changed based on business needs.

Salary range
- $126,000 - $189,000 per year
