Job Summary

The Department of Finance and Quantitative Methods at the University of Kentucky in Lexington, KY seeks to hire a full-time lecturer. Previous teaching experience at the undergraduate and graduate level is desirable. An MA, MS, MBA, or JD is required (a PhD in Finance, or similar, is desired but not required). The projected start date is January of 2026 (but may be extended to August 2026). The selected candidate will be appointed to a 9-month, non-tenure-eligible faculty position for an initial two-year period that has the potential for renewal and for promotion to Senior Lecturer after five years. While this position has most of its time focused on teaching, it also has service responsibilities. The anticipated initial Distribution of Effort will be 80% teaching and 20% service.
