SCOPE – LOGISTICS COORDINATOR Oversee, manage, organize, and monitor the dock schedules for all docks at JTM Food Group. Ensuring optimum efficiency and productivity while achieving the highest possible level of customer service. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES – LOGISTICS COORDINATOR
  • Efficiently operate the Transportation Management System (E2Open).
  • Create and confirm all dock appointments in E2Open with managed and non-managed carriers.
  • Instruct non-managed carriers on how to get set up in E2Open, how to request appointments and how to set up advisors for appointment modifications and confirmations.
  • Work with dock personnel and management to understand the dock flow and products being received.
  • Collaborate with carriers to maximize dock schedules while ensuring enough transit time for on time delivery.
  • Work with JTM Logistics team and carriers to increase on time pick-up and delivery at JTM.
  • Act as a company liaison to the various transportation service providers.
  • Prepare accurate reports for upper management such as on-time pick up/on-time delivery and carrier dwell time at JTM.
  • Provide knowledgeable and efficient support to backup key positions within the shipping, receiving, and distribution department.
  • Verify we have inventory to ship when customer or carriers request pick up appointments
  • Other duties and special projects as assigned.
SUCCESS CRITERIA – LOGISTICS COORDINATOR
  • Safety/GMP/Food Safety/Quality policies followed.
  • BRC Compliance.
  • Reporting accuracy met.
  • Shipping requirements met.
EXPERIENCE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS – LOGISTICS COORDINATOR
  • Ability to build strong relationships, provide excellent customer service, and problem solve.
  • Degree in transportation and or Logistics preferred.
  • Strategic and tactical leader with strong analytical skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal skills.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word, Power point, TMS
  • Team player with proven ability to work well under pressure.
  • This position is an onsite position.
