Responsibilities:
- Logistics Support – maintain hardware inventory of computers, monitors, phones, keyboards, mice, etc.
- Follow established procedures from Central Logistics for logging all equipment in and out
- Always maintain a clean Logistics room, areas/shelves clearly labeled
- Taking ownership of the lab to ensure processes/policies are being applied, making changes to these processes to provide a better customer service experience.
- Responsible for ensuring all techs are following process\policies in Secure Stock Rooms, Lab Rooms, Storage Rooms, Guru Bars
- Receive and process hardware in tracking system as deliveries arrive.
- Open “broken hardware” requests with vendors and track until completion
- Hardware arrival – check “Legal Holds” data and perform data backup when identified
- Support critical Service Level Agreements with timely and accurate execution of support requests via our ticketing and tracking systems. Ex. Assign devices for New Hires, Break-fix, PC Refresh
- Quarterly Physical Inventory of all equipment in the room
- Place equipment orders on behalf of associates as necessary
- Computer wiping – ensure all older devices set for disposal are wiped and log file captured
- Dispose of old equipment through our vendor, process is audited, tracked very closely
- Work with Central Logistics to request equipment.
- Adherence to reporting and escalation procedures.
- Interfacing closely with other regional technical support teams and operations groups to ensure successful completion of customer requests and projects.
- Working in conjunction with technical and non-technical personnel to successfully finish the requests.
- Special assignments and other work related duties as required by management.
- Ensuring all documentation is kept updated, as well as build new documentation as needed
- Computer Builds – maintain a supply of computers loaded with specific image
Education and Experience:
- Associates Degree and/or 2+ years knowledge of Logistics experience and computer hardware
- A+ certification is a plus
Skills and Knowledge:
- Knowledge in working in SharePoint/Excel with formulas a plus
- A detailed oriented self-starter with good written and verbal communications skills, along with the ability to pre-plan, organize, prioritize, and multitask.
- Knowledge of Windows Operating Systems, Mac OS and Client Hardware.
- Ability to excel in a change-controlled environment.
- Superior analytical and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively with client and other groups.
- Ability to think independently to meet goals based on requirements.
