Job Details
DescriptionJob Duties:- Conducts day to day general maintenance tasks;
- Clearing drain blockages;
- Basic Electrical tasks;
- Basic Plumbing tasks;
- Assembly/installation/repair of special equipment;
- Minor repairs of mechanical equipment (water circulation pumps, etc.);
- Basic carpentry work;
- Changing light bulbs;
- Moving furniture/equipment;
- Handling materials for shredding;
- Assisting with seasonal tasks such as ice-melt, shoveling, landscape tasks, leaf cleanup, etc.;
- As expected with all healthcare positions, must adhere to HIPAA/OSHA/BLOODBORNE PATHOGEN regulations and maintain associated workplace trainings.
- Other duties as necessary/assigned within all GGC satellite locations.
- 5+ years work experience in related field/skilled trade;
- Certification, degree, licensure helpful but not required;
- Ability to lift 100 lbs without restriction;
- Ability to follow instructions accurately;
- Ability to stand for lengths of time and walk distances;
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills;
- High standard of work ethic;
- Ability to meet deadlines and deal with climate extremes;
- Solid mechanical knowledge base;
- Maintain valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
