Job Summary
Experienced Maintenance Technician with a strong background in troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining mechanical, electrical, and facility systems. Skilled in preventive maintenance, equipment inspections, and diagnosing operational issues to minimize downtime and ensure safe, efficient operations. Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team while maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and reliability.
Job Duties:
- Receive, inspect, distribute, and transport materials, supplies, and equipment throughout campus facilities.
- Perform preventive maintenance and minor repairs on equipment, machinery, HVAC systems, vehicles, and campus infrastructure.
- Assist with campus event setup, facility preparation, furniture moving, equipment assembly, and work order execution.
- Maintain campus grounds through mowing, landscaping, snow removal, de-icing, and other seasonal maintenance activities.
- Inspect and monitor safety equipment, including emergency eyewash stations and showers, and assist with campus security as needed.
- Identify, troubleshoot, and report maintenance issues while supporting preventive maintenance schedules and operational efficiency.
- Support the safe and effective operation of campus facilities by completing assigned maintenance tasks and responding to facility needs as directed by supervisors.
Minimum Qualifications:
High school degree or GED
