Our Clinical Supply Operations is responsible for the supply of drug product administered to patients in clinical studies worldwide. In Global Product Development and Supply the team works closely with our partners to deliver quality products safely, efficiently and on time while operationalizing the innovative technologies that will deliver the transformative medicines of tomorrow. Role & Responsibilities:
- Subject Matter Expert on all issues relating to the Pick, Pack & Ship operation for all Investigational Medicinal Products (IMPs)/Finished Kits out of the CSO New Brunswick.
- Single point of contact for R&D Logistics for all domestic and international IMP orders; ensure that a high degree of Customer Service is provided to R&D Logistics and other Clinical Supply Chain customers.
- Responsible for scheduling carriers to pick-up outbound IMP shipments; ensure that once picked and packed, orders are handed over to JLL (shipping dock) in a compliant and timely manner.
- Meticulously track and report the order volume for both domestic and international IMP orders.
- Responsible for assigning and supervising IMP Orders and related tasks to the PDTs and ensuring effective manpowerutilization and re-prioritization of tasks.Primary point of contact for all PDTs regarding guidance needed to perform day to day activities.
- Responsible for inventory accuracy in the CSO Distribution warehouses in New Brunswick by ensuring that PDTs adhere to the prescribed processes and all transactions are reflected accurately in SAP.Additionally, ensure that the Cycle Count program is thoroughly managed.Also ensure that all expired/obsolete inventory is continually destroyed in consultation with the R&D Logistics Team.
- Support all receiving activities and maintain the appropriate documentation for the CSO NBR Distribution Operations.
- Ensure that PDTs are appropriately trained for the tasks that they are expected to perform and hold them accountable if the prescribed procedure is not adhered to.
- Ensure that the CSO NBR Distribution warehouses in Building 105 and Building 107 are professionally maintained on a day-to-day basis and are continually in an audit ready state.
- Responsible for processing purchase requisitions to order supplies to support the CSO NBR Distribution Operations. Ensure that all supplies (including panels, shippers, temptales, tag alerts etc.) necessary for successfully executing the pick, pack, ship operation are ordered and readily available.
- Ensure that all equipment within the CSO B105/B107 Distribution warehouses is regularly inspected and is in a usable and audit ready condition.
- Ensure that all assigned SOPs are periodically updated and any lapses in operations are promptly reported to CSPO Management and Quality. In case of operational lapses, actively facilitate the process of identifying the root cause, determining and executing the corrective action and effectively documenting them in the prescribed format in Infinity.
- Support the CSPO Management Team on process and productivity improvement initiatives as identified.
Experience & Qualifications:
- Undergraduate Degree in Science, Business, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain or equivalent relevant experience.
- 3-5 years experience in warehouse/logistics/dispensary operations in a biopharma setting, highly desirable.
- APICS certification preferred.

Compensation Overview:
New Brunswick - NJ - US: $96,940 - $117,472 
The starting compensation range(s) for this role are listed above for a full-time employee (FTE) basis. Additional incentive cash and stock opportunities (based on eligibility) may be available. The starting pay rate takes into account characteristics of the job, such as required skills, where the job is performed, the employee’s work schedule, job-related knowledge, and experience. Final, individual compensation will be decided based on demonstrated experience.
