How will you make an impact in this role?
The Analytics, Investments and Marketing Enablement (AIM) team – a part of Global Commercial Services Marketing (GCSM) – is the analytics engine that enables the Global Commercial business. The team is responsible for driving Commercial Customer acquisitions, engagement & retention by evolving our card & beyond-card products, targeting customers over online and offline channels through delivering world-class Analytics, Insights and Data Products. This specific Manager role would be a part of the ‘Affiliate, Paid Media and BTC Analytics' team within AIM. The incumbent would work on a team with presence in NY and Gurgaon (India).
Responsibilities:
- Creating world class analytical solutions and developing cutting edge, future-proof Identity & Personalization capabilities powered by Data, Dynamic Intelligence
- Responsible for delivering innovative targeting solutions in collaboration with stakeholders across Global Commercial Services, Enterprise Digital and Data Solutions group.
- Develop effective demand generation strategies through upper funnel targeting in Paid Media leveraging Commercial audiences & 2P, 3P dataAnalytics to devise targeting strategy
- Develop and foster cross functional relationships with partners across American Express to ensure project prioritization and implementation
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Finance, Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, Computer Science or Economics)
- 2-3 years of experience with PySpark/Python/SQL/SAS
- Strong analytical/conceptual thinking acumen to solve unstructured and complex business problems and articulate key findings to senior leaders/stakeholders to influence business decision making
- Strong understanding of the digital eco-system as it relates to digital analytics, related tools & technology like Clickstream logs, Data management platforms
- An artful ability to work within cross-functional teams to connect the dots and bring new innovations to life
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to win hearts & minds of team members, partners
Preferred Qualifications:
- 2+ years of digital analytics experience and familiarity with paid marketing channels, digital marketing technology
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and across a matrix organization partnering with cross-functional teams and external vendors to deliver solutions at top speed.
Salary Range: $103,750.00 to $174,750.00 annually + bonus + benefits
