Manager, Data Analytics and Insights

The Role

We are looking for a strategic, data-driven professional to help transform how we measure and optimize performance. In this role, you’ll go beyond traditional reporting; collaborate with senior leadership to develop innovative products that provide significant understanding of associate performance.

You’ll synthesize data into clear, impactful intelligence using advanced analytics and visualization techniques to influence key business decisions. Collaboration is at the heart of this role: you’ll work closely with multi-functional teams to understand evolving needs, uncover opportunities, and develop interactive, outstanding user experiences.

The Expertise and Skills You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, with demonstrable experience in the financial industry.

  • 5+ years in data analytics and insights, ideally in team environment.

  • Experience managing projects involving dashboard and UI build, metrics, and benchmarks.

  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and programming languages (e.g., SQL)

  • Experience with data visualization and reporting tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, etc.)

  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with attention to detail.

  • Good communication and presentation abilities.

  • Proficiency in Excel, and the ability to build compelling visual presentations.

  • Experience designing engaging user interfaces using prototyping tools such as Axure or similar platforms.

  • Build intuitive dashboards that deliver insights and a top-tier user experience.

  • Design innovative, user-focused solutions to simplify complexity and boost engagement.

  • Query data, synthesize results, and turn findings into clear, actionable insights.

  • Engage senior leaders to align priorities, present dashboards, and influence decisions.

  • Collaborate with analytics, tech, and business teams to meet evolving needs.

  • Champion dashboards as a domain expert and drive adoption.

  • Apply a consultative approach to identify needs and guide data-driven decisions.

  • Resolve product issues proactively to ensure reliability and a seamless user experience.

The Team

Sales Performance and Analytics (SPA) develop and delivers sales performance management processes, variable compensation plans, and enabling technologies that improve the experience of our Associates and Leaders. Our work aligns with the evolving needs of our clients and supports Fidelity Wealth’s strategic direction. We empower front office success and business agility by developing Business Intelligence (BI) capabilities that reflect Fidelity Wealth’s data and BI strategies. Through insightful, data-driven analytics, we also improve performance measurement tools that elevate the associate and leader experience.

As part of Fidelity Wealth HR’s SPA organization, the Business Analyst plays a key role across squads to help implement our mission. This position delivers essential support, collaborates with leaders at every tier, and develops a consultative connection with team leaders and business partners. The analyst provides transparency on acceptance criteria, scenario creation and testing, and contributes deep business product insight to facilitate the execution of complex initiatives.

Most roles at Fidelity are Hybrid, requiring associates to work onsite every other week (all business days, M-F) in a Fidelity office. This does not apply to Remote or fully Onsite roles.
