
Manager, Investment Product
Job Description:
The Role
We currently have an open role for an Investment Product Manager. In this role, you will work on a variety of projects and initiatives in the areas of product strategy, development, management and advocacy for Fidelity’s high income and alternatives strategies. You will partner with the investment teams and distribution channels to play a critical support function for Fidelity’s investment product offerings. Over time, you will contribute to all parts of the product lifecycle including supporting existing products in market.
Contribute to the long-term investment product roadmap to capitalize on emerging trends and themes
Understand product design, investment philosophy, process, resources, and results.
Create and enhance investment content for product positioning and marketing in collaboration with investment teams and marketing.
Research product development opportunities and help develop business cases to support new product initiatives.
Support opportunities to reposition or enhance existing products to improve longer-term marketability.
Participate in cross-team and cross-functional projects taking product vision, client needs, and business value into account.
Research the competition to generate product ideas and sales tactics.
The Expertise and Skills You Bring
2+ years of financial services experience
You have a demonstrated knowledge of, and interest in, investments.
Progress towards or interest in pursuing the CFA charter encouraged, but not required
You have an understanding of Fidelity’s distribution channels and market trends
You are a critical thinker and problem solver
You are comfortable working with and summarizing data with a high level of attention to detail and accuracy.
You are an experienced user of Microsoft Office products (Excel, PowerPoint).
A working knowledge of third-party investment analytical tools would be helpful (Morningstar Direct, Bloomberg, and eVestment Alliance), but not required.
You are a highly effective communicator with excellent writing, presentation and interpersonal skills
You have the ability to successfully work in teams, with an eagerness to take initiative, and are able to navigate a complex environment with multiple stakeholders
You have demonstrated experience as a contributing member of an impactful team
You are a self-starter with high energy to help move the business forward

The base salary range for this position is $80,000-153,000 USD per year.Placement in the range will vary based on job responsibilities and scope, geographic location, candidate’s relevant experience, and other factors.
Base salary is only part of the total compensation package. Depending on the position and eligibility requirements, the offer package may also include bonus or other variable compensation.
