
Manager, Manufacturing Operations
Responsibilities
Position Overview:
As a Manufacturing Manager, you'llbe part of our Industrial Global Supply Chain Aerospace team working as anon-site employee. In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for dailyproduction of gang channels, anchor nuts, and washers, along with drivingefficiencies for the heat treat and special processing functions.
Key Responsibilities:
' Ensures to run a safe,injury/accident-free workplace.
' Responsible for daily management andleadership of all resources assigned.
' Schedule adherence, productivity,personnel development, time and attendance, training andestablishing/monitoring departmental goals.
' Enhances the operational procedures,processes and systems to improve operational efficiencies.
' Works independently and within a teamwhile coordinating with other Departmental Leaders and/or Managers to achieve daily/weekly/monthlygoals and objectives.
' Interprets company policies to workers,leads by example and enforces all Federal, State and local regulations.
' Creates a departmental cross trainingmatrix and mentors assigned personnel.
' Deploys team members to bothstrategically and tactically engage in cross functional problem solving toimprove production efficiency and product quality.
' Executes the production schedule,manage people, assets, tooling and materials in running the production in mostproductive fashion; engage actively in potential schedule or requirementchanges; ensure and enhance production schedule adherence.
' Manages Key Performance Indicators(KPI's) and other reporting daily to drive performance in all assigned areas;and ensure all production data accuracies.
' Ensures employees are trained on postmanufacturing processing procedures and practices.
' Reviews variable costs, productivity,earned standard hours and throughput daily and implement effective recovery orcorrective actions when targets are not achieved.
' Actively participates in ContinuousImprovement (CI) projects to increase efficiency, productivity and machineutilization while reducing overall cost.
' Provides manufacturing expertise whenproblems arise.
' Formulates and maintains the higheststandards of housekeeping (6S) in all areas assigned.
' Supports and improves upon qualityinitiatives designed to meet plant goals.
' Manages preventative maintenanceperformed by production employees.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
' Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Manufacturing froman accredited institution, or equivalent work experience.
' A minimum of 7 years of experience as an Operations Manager orsimilar role in Aerospace, Medical Device, Automotive, or similar industry.
' Experience hardening, tempering, annealing, and otherheat-treating processes.
' Experience applying coatings and plating to aerospace parts usingautomated equipment or manual techniques.
' Understanding of stamping processes, including blanking, forming,and piercing.
' Strong analytical and understanding of techniques to meet coatingand thickness desired.
' Effective verbal and written communications skills at all levelsof the organization, especially with direct employees.
' Previous supervisory experience leading large teams (40+ people).
' Intermediate use of ERP (JDE), MS Office Suite and productivitytools.

Preferred Qualifications:
' Experience with chemistry, metallurgy, material science orrelated field /equivalent.
Salary Range:
The base pay range for this position in California, is$105,400.00 - $147,500.00/year. Pay is based on market location and may varydepending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A sign-on paymentmay be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a fullrange of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the positionoffered.
