Enterprise Data Risk Management (“EDRM”), within Global Risk & Compliance Organization, is the independent risk management function covering risk of financial loss, reputational damage, or regulatory or legal action resulting from inadequate data governance and/or data management practices adversely impacting the accuracy, timeliness, comprehensiveness, or usability of data within or throughout its lifecycle.
Enterprise Data Risk Management is hiring a Manager who will play a key role in supporting the oversight of data used in key risk and regulatory reports. The Manager will review and assess reporting outputs, evaluate controls, and provide transparency into data risks, ensuring alignment with EDRM policies, regulatory requirements, and our enterprise risk appetite.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Review data used in key risk and regulatory reports for completeness, accuracy, and alignment with enterprise standards.
- Conduct independent assessments of reporting processes and challenge the design and effectiveness of data-related controls.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across Global Risk & Compliance, Finance, the Enterprise Data Office, and business units to strengthen reporting processes and data risk transparency.
- Monitor and analyze key risk indicators to identify trends, emerging issues, and potential control weaknesses in data used in reporting processes.
- Contribute to the development and enhancement of EDRM policies, procedures, and guidance.
- Stay current on regulatory requirements and industry best practices to ensure ongoing compliance and relevance of oversight activities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Risk Management, Information Technology, Data Analytics, or related field required.
- Advanced degree preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in data management, risk management, compliance, audit, or regulatory reporting, preferably in financial services.
- Strong knowledge of data governance, compliance, and issue management in large organizations.
- Experience reviewing and assessing risk reporting, dashboards, or control testing results.
- Proficiency with reporting and data analysis tools (Excel, SQL, Power BI, Tableau).
- Familiarity with database systems and enterprise risk platforms.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with high attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to distill complex findings for senior stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong collaboration and influencing skills across a matrixed organization.
- High integrity and willingness to challenge assumptions constructively.
Salary Range: $89,250.00 to $150,250.00 annually + bonus + benefits
