How will you make an impact in this role?

The Data Management team within the Information Security organization manages Information Security Data Warehouse and builds tools/processes to help Cyber Security Analysts identify, investigate and manage risks. The Technical Project Manager (TPM) is responsible for managing the team’s capacity as they contribute to capabilities to improve product features across the portfolio, as well as providing an environment for the system engineers to deliver without interruptions. This position works closely with business partners, auditors, architects, system engineers across multiple teams, acting as a single point of contact for the team. Being part of the Information Security organization, the TPM needs to have a good understanding of the information security landscape to work closely with Security Analysts to build products for them.

  • Working within and across tech and business units to prioritize, plan and execute the development schedule for new capabilities
  • Managing and appropriately escalating delivery impediments, risks, issues and changes tied to the team’s capability development initiatives
  • Creating both business and tech-facing artifacts to clearly illustrate the teams work, beyond technical documentation
  • Ensuring deliverables across engineering teams are of high-quality with clear documentation
  • Managing stakeholders– prioritizing requests, gaining alignment, and setting expectations on project delivery
  • Working with tech partners and architects to identify solutions and business process improvements
  • Responding to audit requests by performing required data analysis and submitting evidence to close the requests.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Preferably a BS or MS degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or other technical discipline OR 8+ years of Information Technology management experience in the area of Information Security
  • 8+ years of Software Project Management experience
  • Have prior experience working with data engineers and managing big data projects
  • Ability to query and analyze data to respond to adhoc requests
  • Ability to effectively interpret Technical and Business objectives as well as challenges and support the team in delivering
  • Ability to drive projects end-to-end, work with a diverse set of teams spread across the globe and challenge the status quo
  • Willingness to learn new technologies, experiment and use them to their maximum potential
  • Understanding of Agile Scrum and Kanban methodologies with demonstrated ability to implement Agile methodologies within teams
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills; Ability to effectively communicate across third parties and technical and business product managers especially using online collaboration tools
  • Experience in clarifying objectives, dealing with ambiguity/under-defined problems, advocating for simplification, and influencing teams
  • Experience with Confluence, Jira and GitHub

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience dealing with Audit Requests will be added plus
  • Professional certification preferred (e.g. CISA, CISSP, CISM etc.)

Salary Range: $110,000.00 to $190,000.00 annually + bonus + benefits
