Technical Project/Program Manager


The Technical Project/Program Manager role drives processes and execution oversight for Agile Release Train (ART). This role resolves or raises impediments, handles risk, and promotes committed improvement throughout the train. Responsible for facilitating train/release level events such as Program Increment planning, Inspect and Adapt, and the ART Synchs.

If you have deep experience with Lean and Agile practices at scale and understand the unique opportunities and challenges of aligning and facilitating an ART (team-of-Agile Teams), then you'll find a fit within our Enterprise FinOps team which is part of the newly formed Global Infrastructure Product Services Organization. To succeed in this team, this individual must have the passion and energy to work in a startup-like, entrepreneurial, and fast-paced environment. They must have the willingness, energy and technical ability to roll up their sleeves and work directly with the solution as well as the maturity, confidence, and experience to manage and coordinate with a multitude of partners.


Here’s just some of what you’ll do:

  • Top-down understanding of Safe Agile concepts and apply them to ongoing SDLC life cycles
  • Technical understanding of SaaS solutions and ability to integrate Agile Program Management practices into ongoing Product Roadmap
  • Manage Program Increment (PI) process: gathering requirements, coordinating meetings, partner with product, engineering, security, and customer application teams.
  • Manage prioritization process.
  • Manage Jira process (Capabilities, features, stories, acceptance criteria process)
  • Facilitate solution technical alignment discussions.
  • Run Scrum calls.
  • Drive backlog.
  • Raise blockers, handle risks, manage team capacity needs.
  • Assist in driving roadmap.
  • Track and measure execution via reporting.
  • Manage Jira boards.
  • Contribute to team confluence pages.
  • Partner with Platform and Application teams to maintain Account Repository.


Are you up for the challenge? Here’s what you should have:

  • Knowledge of FinOps, and Public Cloud Cost.
  • Expertise in Apptio Cloudability tool a plus.
  • Program/Project Management experience.
  • Experience facilitating Agile, Scrum, or other rapid application development teams to deliver solutions.
  • Current/active SAFe SA/RTE certification, Additional Agile certifications a plus.
  • Ability to turn ideas into action by persuasion, gaining support and commitment from others; mobilizing people to act, using creative approaches to motivate others to meet goals.
  • Proficiency in breaking down work into manageable parts, assessing the priority and time required to complete each part; taking initiative to prioritize tasks related to organizational goals; developing detailed plans, completing tasks in logical order, and delivering work products on time while monitoring progress against deadlines.
  • Ability to work on several tasks simultaneously.
  • Ability to adjust the message, style, and tone of a communication to accommodate a variety of audiences.
  • Effectiveness with influencing outcomes and people without relying on reporting lines or organizational hierarchy.
  • Ability to quickly create relationships and build trust with internal and external stakeholders.

Salary Range: $123,000.00 to $215,250.00 annually + bonus + benefits
