How You’ll Make an Impact

As the Global Learning Operations and Servicing Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in enabling the success of American Express’s Global Colleague and Leadership Development programs. Leading a high-performing, globally dispersed team, you will ensure operational excellence, service quality, and continuous improvement across our learning ecosystem — directly influencing how colleagues develop, grow, and thrive at American Express.

·Build and coach a global team that partners cross-functionally to deliver learning excellence.

What You’ll Do

·Lead global Learning Operations and Servicing teams supporting all aspects of Learning Management System (LMS) operations, including course management, compliance, and performance measurement.

·Partner with business, technology, and vendor stakeholders to design and deliver scalable learning solutions that enhance enterprise capabilities.

·Define and implement governance frameworks, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and Service Level Agreements (SLAs) to ensure consistency and service quality.

·Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess training effectiveness and inform continuous improvement.

·Leverage data analytics and colleague feedback to optimize learning delivery and platform performance.

·Provide leadership, direction, and development for a global team through ongoing coaching, performance management, and career planning.

·Manage operational readiness for new platform capabilities and continuous process optimization across the learning ecosystem.

Minimum Qualifications

·7+ years of experience in corporate training, learning operations, or LMS administration within a large, complex organization.

·Demonstrated success leading globally dispersed teams and managing multiple stakeholders across business, technology, and vendor landscapes.

·Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence and present at all levels of the organization.

·Proven experience defining and managing governance, SLAs, and process optimization initiatives.

·Expertise in operational analytics, reporting, and performance management.

·Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Preferred Qualifications

·Experience with Oracle Learning Management Systems (LMS) or equivalent enterprise platforms.

·Certified Professional in Talent Development (CPTD or ATD) preferred.

·Strong grounding in instructional design principles and learning ecosystem management.

·Experience driving digital transformation, automation, or AI-enhanced learning operations.

·Strategic thinker with the ability to translate vision into execution in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

Salary Range: $89,250.00 to $150,250.00 annually + bonus + benefits
