Manager, Workforce Analytics & Insights

The Role

As a member of the Wealth Human Resources Analytics team, you will play a critical role in providing workforce insights to HR and business leaders across Fidelity Wealth. Our people are our greatest asset, and we aim to maximize this investment to deliver on our ambitious strategy. This role offers the opportunity to shape data-driven HR strategies and influence decisions impacting thousands of Fidelity associates. In addition, this role helps to support the HR function with improving our operations utilizing data-driven tools and approaches.

  • Support the Wealth HR organization by curating HR datasets and dashboards
  • Provide analytical support for strategic and tactical business decisions
  • Conduct and present insightful analyses on major trends, challenges and opportunities and build clear and effective visualizations (dashboard, metrics and PowerPoint presentations)
  • Develop predictive and prescriptive analytics to anticipate workforce trends and inform decisions
  • Help to drive improvements to the HR operational processes
  • Use variety of HR systems, tools and practices to fulfill data requests
  • Assist and advise with HR team on ad hoc requests as well as establishing self-service options
  • Balance responding to day-to-day reporting and analytics priorities while still making progress on project and backlog work
  • Build, establish and maintain positive, trusting working relationships with members of HR Analytics, HR Line, Talent Acquisition and other internal or external partners

The Expertise and Skills You Bring

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent with 5+ years of experience
  • Experience in data analysis, advanced reporting, or similar quantitative activities
  • Experienced with combining large data sets from various sources for complete analysis using Alteryx, SQL, or other methods
  • Ability to build end-to-end, automated, repeatable dashboards and analyses using Tableau or equivalent software
  • Hands-on experience with advanced analytics methods (e.g., Python, R, Machine Learning) is a plus, though conceptual familiarity and a willingness to learn is valuable
  • Microsoft Office expertise required, particularly with Excel and PowerPoint
  • Excellent presentation, communication, organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrable track record of building executive ready reports or presentations that effectively tell the story and provide insights
  • A curious and confident learner who asks questions and looks for innovative solutions to improve partnerships and work products
  • Ability to influence and consult with stakeholders by translating complex data into clear, actionable insights and recommendations
  • Ability to create compelling visualizations that highlight key insights in relevant data
  • You have strong organizational skills, attention to detail and quality, and a high degree of expertise with detailed processes and data
  • Ability to understand and help improve operational processes using best practices and automation tools such as Alteryx
  • Your ability to manage and prioritize multiple concurrent objectives or activities while meeting deadlines
  • You are a collaborative, self-motivated and proactive teammate, who organizes data and builds reports that answer key anticipated questions

The Team

The Wealth HR Analytics team plays a critical part in helping our leaders get visibility into the Fidelity Wealth workforce to ensure we can make the best decisions about our people. Wealth is the largest business unit at Fidelity with over 25,000 associates and includes our Advisor and Investor Services associates at the heart of Fidelity’s business model of serving retail customers. We are a very collaborative team, working within the team and with our stakeholders to deliver on our business needs. This role will have opportunity to partner with various members of the team to support Wealth HR leadership and their teams, as well as other focus areas such as data foundations, HR Analytics portal, or key focus areas such as Talent Management, Employee Pulse Survey, etc.

Most roles at Fidelity are Hybrid, requiring associates to work onsite every other week (all business days, M-F) in a Fidelity office. This does not apply to Remote or fully Onsite roles.
