Responsibilities

Salary Range:

' Starts at $26/hr

Position Overview:

' The intern will assist cross-functionalteams including manufacturing, quality, engineering, planning, and supply chainwhile developing practical skills in a regulated, fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

' Support manufacturing operationsrelated to machining, deburring, inspection, and assembly of metal fittings

' Assist with data collection, reporting,and basic analysis related to production efficiency, scrap, rework, andthroughput.

' Help maintain accurate productiondocumentation in accordance with aerospace quality standards (AS9100, ISO,etc.)

' Shadow and assist supervisors,engineers, and leads with process improvements and workflow optimization

' Support inventory tracking, materialflow, and basic scheduling activities

' Participate in safety initiatives andcomply with all EH&S requirements

' Assist with continuous improvementprojects (5S, Lean, standard work documentation)

' Perform administrative and operationalsupport tasks as assigned

Learning Opportunities:

' Exposure to CNC machining and metalmanufacturing processes

' Understanding aerospace quality andcompliance requirements

' Hands-on experience in a regulatedmanufacturing environment

' Introduction to production planning,quality assurance, and supply chain operations

Professional development throughmentorship and real-world projects

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

' Currently enrolled in or recently completed a program inEngineering, Manufacturing, Operations, Business, Supply Chain, or a relatedfield

' Strong interest in aerospace manufacturing and metal products

' Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook

' Ability to follow instructions, procedures, and safetyrequirements

' Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn

' Familiarity with Lean manufacturing or continuous improvementconcepts

' Interest in pursuing a career in aerospace, manufacturing, oroperations

Physical Requirements:

' Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with exposure tonoise, machinery, and production equipment

' Ability to stand, walk, and occasionally lift up to 25 lbs, withreasonable accommodations required by law

Must comply with all company safety and PPE requirements
