Position Overview:

As a Manufacturing OperationsSupervisor 2nd shift, you'll be part of our Fullerton, CA team working as anon-site employee.'

Key Responsibilities:

' Run a safe, injury/accident-freeworkplace.

' Responsible for daily management andleadership of all resources assigned.' Typical responsibilities include but arenot limited to: Schedule adherence, productivity, personnel development, timeand attendance, training and establishing/monitoring departmental goals.

' Enhance the operational procedures,processes and systems to improve operational efficiencies.

' Interprets company policies to workers,leads by example and enforces all Federal, State and local regulations.

' Deploys team members to bothstrategically and tactically engage in cross functional problem solving toimprove production efficiency and product quality.

' Conducts performance appraisals andmanages work performance of all subordinates.

' Exercises final departmentrecommendations regarding retention, separation, or changes in wages.

' Keeps accurate records pertaining toall facets of operation.

' Escalates irreconcilable problems tothe attention of the appropriate plant management/HR.

' Formulates and maintains higheststandards of 5S in all areas assigned.

Reports and rectify any actual orperceived EH&S problems within scope of responsibility.

Qualifications

BasicQualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Operations Management, or a combination of appropriate related work experience and education/training.
  • Extensive experience with CNC equipment, programming, tooling and fixturing.
  • Expert ability to read and interpret blueprints, methods of manufacturing, machine code, tabular data and other related technical documentation.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
  • Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
  • This position entails access to export-controlled items and employment offers are conditioned upon an applicant's ability to lawfully obtain access to such items

PreferredQualifications

  • 6+ years of progressive manufacturing leadership experience and responsibility. Aerospace and/or Automotive experience preferred.

Certifications from recognizedinstitutions like the National Institute for Metalworking Skills (NIMS) can beadvantageous.
