Responsibilities

Job Summary

This position provides technical and administrative assistance to department staff, and is also responsible for project coordination.

Essential Functions and Job Responsibilities

  • Follow Howmet’s Safety Regulations and Work Rules Handbook along with all department specific safety requirements.
  • Works with the Supervisors and quality department to manage and coordinate lots, routers and any quality changes.
  • Strong emphasis on creating, writing and managing data collection programs in the IPC application.
  • Any new job needs to be properly controlled in EBS so they integrate properly with all functioning departments such as sales, marketing and manufacturing.
  • Manages the vendor relationship for Cell phone and desk phones.
  • Coordinates any cell phone or desk phone Moves, Add and Changes.
  • Orders misc equipment and supplies for IS.
  • Must comply with all company attendance policies and guidelines; this includes, but is not limited to, regular attendance and occasional overtime.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Skills & Abilities

  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Computer literacy
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft office tools (Excel, Outlook)
  • Able to work with minimal supervision
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Attention to details

Must be available to take on-call phone and perform overtime duties on a revolving schedule to include evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
  • This position entails access to export-controlled items and employment offers are conditioned upon an applicant's ability to lawfully obtain access to such items.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience with manufacturing data collection systems.
  • Data entry experience.
