Marketing Owner, Rep Communications
Job description
You will act as the Rep Comms channel lead for multiple lines of business. In this role, you will help to deliver immediate and vital support directly to the field as they identify communications needs while also advancing integrated campaigns with product and marketing partners.
This is a fast-paced role where you will balance a number of priorities across the Wealth and Brokerage businesses in supporting both marketing objectives and ongoing sales support needs. You will develop a close partnership with marketing and business product areas and our distribution partners to understand and execute requests, apply standard methodologies, and optimize within the email channel. You will become a subject matter authority on the communications and tools that reps use.

The Expertise We’re Looking For
The Rep Communications team within Fidelity’s Wealth unit owns tools and content used by our field reps to service customers. The marketing owner ensures the communications we create are in line with our guiding principles, are authentic, and benefit our reps, customers and the firm. The team is specialists in the communications they maintain as well as the tools they are distributed on.
The hourly pay rate range for this position is $45.00 – $70.00 per hour.
Placement in the range will vary based on job responsibilities and scope, geographic location, candidate’s relevant experience, and other factors
Job description
You will act as the Rep Comms channel lead for multiple lines of business. In this role, you will help to deliver immediate and vital support directly to the field as they identify communications needs while also advancing integrated campaigns with product and marketing partners.

You will develop a close partnership with marketing and business product areas and our distribution partners to understand and execute requests, apply standard methodologies, and optimize within the email channel. You will become a subject matter authority on the communications and tools that reps use.
Specifically, you will:
- Work with business and distribution partners to decision on requests for new and updated rep-driven content
- Draft and iterate copy according to standards and best practices
- Traffic copy through a defined marketing owner process, including QA steps, Compliance, email development requirements and product partner review
- Analyze engagement and provide recommendations to partners for optimization
- Ensure all deliverables are high quality, on time and aligned to the strategy
- Be a good steward of the channel and lead it forward to evolve and improve our rep communications tactics, find efficiencies, and respond to field requests with scale and agility
- Build a strong understanding of products and offerings, and how and where the associated communications are shared with reps and customers
- You are a skilled writer, editor and communicator
- You are strategic and proactive, ask the right questions up front, and make the right connections between product areas and distribution
- You apply standards and best practices, and don’t cut corners in the process
- You are highly collaborative and can give and take feedback
- You use data to advise decision-making and prioritization
- You pay close attention to detail and execute perfectly
- You always put the rep and customer experience first
The Expertise We’re Looking For
- BA/BS degree is helpful
- 8-10 years related work experience demonstrating growing levels of responsibilities in a sophisticated enterprise or matrixed environment
- Background in communications, content development, marketing or sales support is preferred
- Time spent working in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities, ability to meet timelines, and consistently deliver business results.
