Job Summary
The Media Services Coordinator will support the UK HealthCare Corporate Communications team in communicating with the healthcare workforce to deliver on the mission and vision of advancing health in Kentucky. The role will contribute to the planning and development of audio and video media for use in internal communications delivered via the department-managed intranet and social media. The role will also manage the health system’s growing network of digital screens used for communications within UK HealthCare facilities. This position requires a solid understanding of communication practice, as well as technical skills in photography, videography, audio recording, production, editing, project management and postproduction. Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work within a team are also required. The role will also be responsible for maintaining metrics related to the various assets produced or managed.

Preferred Education/Experience
Prefer a bachelor’s degree in communication, media, or fine arts. Prefer 3 years of experience in video capture, sound or other media creation and editing in a corporate (preferably healthcare) environment.
