Interested candidates should apply to be considered. Essential Functions These are the job duties required of the position.Essential Functions
  • Takes verbal and written order from the physician and responds accordingly.
  • Conducts initial intake to include taking vital signs, height and weight.
  • Pulls and accesses charts for completeness adn documents in Electronic Medical Record.
  • Prepares, cleans, and stocks exam rooms.
  • Places patients in exam rooms and assists with lifting as required.
  • Transports specimens to lab and conducts routine lab tests.
  • Assists patients in wheelchairs are required.
  • Performs EKG, draws blood samples, and obtains blood cultures.
  • Provides backup to front desk staff.
  • Checks demographic information, prepares charts, answers and directs phone calls.
  • Maintains medical records, immunizations records, and other files.
  • Communicates and uses appropriate customer relation skills with physicians, patients, and family.
  • Responds to pages and maintains accurate and complete records.
  • Regular and prompt attendance.
  • Ability to work schedule as defined and overtime as required.
  • Related duties as required.
