Position Summary: Part time Receptionist needed for a Family Medicine and Urgent care clinic. You will be taking patient phone calls, creating accounts for new patients, scheduling appointments, and creating tasks with patient questions and concerns, working closely with the physicians and staff. Essential Job Functions: Arrive each day ready to have a professional working relationship with patients, physicians, and co-workers. Assist in accurately setting up and maintaining patient information while also providing excellent customer service. As a receptionist, you should love interacting with new people, making personal connections easily, and ensuring that every patient feels welcome and valued. You will be one of the first interactions that patients will have when they call in to the organization You will navigate challenging opportunities as they arise and provide excellent customer service to our patients, co-workers, and physicians. You are the key to helping our patients understand our processes and procedures. You will feel good about representing a company with a solid reputation and playing an important role in the success of its physicians and employees. Essential Job Functions: Greeting patients as they arrive and being a central figure of the front desk Answer incoming calls, take messages, transfer calls and make calls to patients as needed Prior Authorizations, calling insurance companies Identifying and resolving minor patient billing issues or questions Managing patient appointments, insurance information and co-pay collection Updating and maintaining patient records through our electronic system Working with our team to streamline the patient experience Maintain cleanliness of the waiting room and other areas as needed Other duties as assigned
Qualifications: Must have front desk experience-Medical front desk is preferred Excellent communication skills Multi-tasking Ease with people, phones and computer programs
Hours: Clinic hours are Monday-Saturday 8am-8pm Shifts vary Rotating Saturdays for UC
