Job Description and Requirements
The Mortgage Loan Servicing Specialist will be responsible for the servicing of portfolio mortgage loans and loans sold to external investors.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
- Answer calls, chats, and e-mails related to portfolio mortgage loans and loans sold to external investors.
- Process payments and payoffs.
- Facilitate disbursements for hazard, flood, and windstorm insurance payments from the borrower’s escrow account and monitor insurance on non-escrow mortgage loans.
- Process advances on HELOC loans.
- Process modification requests on portfolio mortgage loans.
- Review insurance claim checks up to $5,000.
- Process requests for termination of Private Mortgage Insurance and removal of escrow.
- Process release of liens on mortgage loans.
- Image documents into OnBase and Encompass.
- Maintain a high level of member service in a call center/work group environment.

Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum of 6 months of member/customer service experience
- Ability to use phone and automated loan system effectively
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organization skills
- Ability to manage a heavy workload in a fast paced environment
- Strong proficiency with Excel, Outlook, Word and DocuSign
- Must be available to work on Saturdays as needed
Preferred:
- Bi-Lingual in English/Spanish
