Job Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Family Medicine and Weight Management team in St. George, UT. This position is split 50/50 between Family Medicine and Weight Management.
The ideal candidate must have 3–5 years of clinical experience and be committed to working collaboratively with our healthcare team to provide comprehensive, compassionate, and patient-centered care. This role focuses on preventive care, chronic disease management, and weight management, while also addressing acute care needs as part of the daily workflow.
All providers in our office are supported by a dedicated medical assistant & health coach staff to ensure efficient and thorough care delivery. Strong teamwork and communication skills are essential. Come join our team!
Essential Job Functions
Provide medical care and treatment to patients under the direction of the supervising physician.
Perform physical exams, collect and document patient data, and conduct approved diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
Order laboratory tests, interpret results, and coordinate appropriate interventions.
Prescribe medications within scope of practice.
Compile and document patient medical information, including health history and physical exam findings.
Collaborate with the supervising physician to manage acute and long-term medical needs.
Manage a busy, fast-paced clinic schedule effectively.
Demonstrate sound clinical judgment and effective decision-making.
Participate in activities that support ongoing competency and professional growth.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
National certification as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
Current Utah licensure, required certifications, and DEA number.
3–5 years of clinical experience (required).
Strong clinical knowledge, interpersonal skills, and communication abilities.
Ability to think independently and innovatively — “outside the box.”
Demonstrates initiative in engaging patients and collaborating with the healthcare team.
Spanish language skills are helpful but not required.
Hours:
Monday thru Friday, 40 hours a week
