The Expertise and Skills You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, or similar technical subject area, and/or equivalent experience
- 7+ years of experience with traditional database skills and technologies like Oracle, SQL, PL/SQL, relational design, recoverability, ETL, data modelling, and performance tuning.
- Demonstrable experience with Oracle using complex queries, packages, and other advanced development features.
- Strong practical working experience with Unix Shell scripting.
- Experience building proof-of-concepts on newer reporting platforms along with building integrations with Java based applications.
- Experience with sophisticated Continuous Integration & Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipeline including software configuration management, test automation, version control, static code analysis.
- Critical thinking skills are highly preferred along with ability to work with other teams.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate with global teams distributed across geographic locations.
- Experience with Reporting solutions utilizing Oracle, SQL Server Reporting Services, Business Object, Power BI or similar reporting platforms is a plus.
- Developer Certifications in Database / Snowflake is a plus.
