Job Summary
The Orientation and Outreach Coordinator plays a key role in the ongoing management and strategic support of the University’s orientation and transition experience. This position maintains and updates the orientation modules and Canvas course, ensuring content remains accurate, accessible, and aligned with institutional goals for student success. Working closely with the Director, the coordinator helps plan, coordinate, and implement transition materials and messaging that support a cohesive onboarding experience from admission through the first semester.
This role balances day‑to‑day operational responsibilities with longer‑term planning efforts, collaborating with campus partners to align orientation content, summer communications, and early‑term resources. The coordinator contributes to the continuous improvement of onboarding processes and tools, helping ensure a seamless, all‑encompassing transition experience for students and families.
Student Success will, from the time of early college outreach to graduation and beyond, support students in living a life of meaning and purpose. From a student-centered framework, our practice will be grounded in peer-reviewed literature, national best practices, and data-informed decision-making. Collaborating with the campus and community, Student Success will work through a holistic lens to support a community of learners in achieving success.
