Phase II (Administrative) CoordinatorUIW MissionPosition SummaryThe Phase II Coordinator works collaboratively with the Office of Medical Education to provide administrative and operations support towards the implementation of Phase II curriculum of the undergraduate Osteopathic Medical Education at SOM. Primary responsibilities include providing support solutions for learners, staff, and faculty. The Phase II Coordinator reports to the Director of Pre-Clinical & Clinical Support.Essential FunctionsJob DutiesKnowledge Skills and Abilities• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.• Strong skills in creating reports.• Strong administrative and project/event coordination skills.• Strong proficiency in Microsoft, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook or equivalent.• Commitment to quality and service.• Ability to work in a team and flexibility to work with others in a variety of circumstances.• Ability to effectively prioritize tasks/goal while working with multiple assignments in a deadline driven environment.• Ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse communities and cultures.• Employee shall adhere to all applicable rules and regulations of the University, the Conference, and the NCAA.Required EducationBachelor's Degree.Required Work Experience• Three (3) years of professional coordination/administrative support experience in higher education and/or medical school. Note that intern or other relevant experience will be considered.• Three (3) years of experience in database management in a professional environment.Preferred Qualifications• Familiarity with principles and practices of Osteopathic Medicine.• MS Teams experience.Required Certifications, Licenses or RegistrationsNone.Work HoursMonday through Friday 8am to 5pm with extended hours as needed to meet departmental and learning community goals.Some weekends may be required.Physical Demands• Ability to lift up to 25lbs for table/chair set-up/tear-down at events and moving testing/event materials.• Ability to reach overhead, bend, and squat to retrieve testing/event materials.• Ability to push/pull event carts holding up to 50lbs.• Ability to actively engage in events for extended periods of time.
