Pay Range

This is the base salary pay range that an applicant can expect to make upon hire. Pay within this range will vary based upon relevant experience, skills, and education among other factors. In addition, this position is eligible for an incentive bonus.

Job Description

Position Overview
The purpose of the Plant Administrative Assistants role is to provide administrative support to both management and staff. The individual holding this position will be responsible for supporting efficient plant operations.

Responsibilities

  • Maintains and consolidates reports, metrics, scorecards and headcounts
  • Manages calendars and schedules appointments and travel arrangements for staff, visitors, and customers
  • Completes expense reports as needed
  • Coordinates requests for office moves, furniture and maintenance
  • Oversees communication efforts such as newsletters, company announcements, and town hall meetings
  • Organizes plant functions and events
  • May be required to perform general HR administration or payroll support functions
  • May be required to perform other related duties as assigned

Requirements (education, skills and abilities)

  • High School diploma or GED with a minimum of 3 years of work experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook (Solid)
  • Working knowledge of Expense Reporting System ERS (Solid)
  • Working knowledge of HR Payroll System (Solid)
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills (Solid)
  • Minimal travel required 0 – 10 days per year
  • Work environment is typical of an office setting in a manufacturing facility may be exposed to environmental conditions of cold, heat, high noise levels, moving mechanical parts, heights, dust mist gas fumes, extensive walking or climbing, etc.
