Oregon State Hospital (OSH), a Joint Commission and CMS certified public psychiatric hospital, provides psychiatric hospital services and patient treatment services to persons committed by the Oregon courts as part of the state mental health system.
The Position Management Specialist in this role will manage the daily changes of Position Management data and personnel movements at OSH. This is done through the daily review and modification of position and incumbent related coding in Workday, OSH’s Complimentary Personnel Database (CPD), as well as modification of Org Charts and Position Management related forms, files and data. This position additionally provides technical and administrative support to managers and support staff related to OSHs Position Management processes.
The incumbent is responsible to ensure accuracy and consistency of information within Position Management files and datasets, Workday and the CPD. It is also responsible to ensure adherence to policy, procedure and bargained language that inform OSH position actions and requests from managers, support staff and HR partners.
- Process requests for Position Management actions from every area and department within OSH Salem, Junction City and Pendleton Cottage.
- Research position and personnel data from multiple sources, interpret and analyze the research for the purposes of assisting the Chief Financial Officer and Deputy Chief Financial Officer in the operation of all program areas within OSH.
- Research, analyze, create and prepare reports that include complex analysis of personnel and/or positions from multiple sources, including Workday, CPD, Position Management files and datasets, budget documentation and other data. This reporting will include exporting of files between software and platforms, development of reports in excel using formulas, tables, charts, graphs, PivotTables and other tools.
- Develop detailed reports that are distributed to OSH managers, staff, and agency partners such as org charts for all areas of the OSH system using Excel, Visio and other tools, supervisory manager contact lists, and other published reports.
The person in this position is expected to set a positive example, support OHA/OSH policies and procedures, follow OHA/OSH's core values/mission statement, use safe work practices, and obey all State and Federal laws, rules, and policies. - The salary listed is the non-PERS qualifying salary range. If the successful candidate is PERS qualifying, the salary range will reflect the additional 6.95%. Review the Classification and Compensation page for more details on the classification.
