Principal Data Analyst, Data Analytics and Insights

The Expertise we’re looking for

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in analytics, economics, statistics, data science with consulting experience.
  • 5+ years’ experience in analytics as a hands-on individual contributor.
  • Proven record developing & delivering automated reporting solutions and dashboards using SQL, Tableau, Power BI, & Alteryx with a solid grasp of Python and/or R.
  • Knowledge of Robotic Process Automation (RPA) Blue Prism, Power Apps & Power Automate is a plus.
  • Ability to independently analyze data and convey sophisticated findings in a clear and impactful way.
  • Cross-domain knowledge in the Retirement Services industry, preferably Defined contributions.
  • Inquisitive and driven to understand the sourcing, pedigree, and lineage of data.
  • Strong customer service capabilities and the ability to interact with internal associates and leaders in a client facing role.
  • Naturally collaborative with experience working in an Agile environment, including with remote teams across multiple locations.

The Purpose of Your Role

You will be part of a multi-disciplinary team in the Workplace Investing Relationship Management organization, using your analytical prowess in a meaningful role to create analytics and insights, dashboards and automated reporting solutions for our key client facing associates in Workplace Investing helping them cater to Fidelity’s client and advisor needs. In your role, you will be responsible for converting business requirements into measurable insights, partnering with data engineers, business analysts on the team to identify how and where data analytics can be used across numerous products, roles and services to help improve customer experiences.

You will be working with a team of robust business analysts evaluating data automation opportunities and drafting requirements, crafting automated reporting solutions with measurable insights for our customers. You will also be leading key initiatives in support of the WI Sales and Relationship Management’s key business objectives.

The Team

The Principal Data Analyst will be located domestically (Westlake preferred) and interact with various Solutions Office associates, WI Relationship Management Solutions Office leadership, WI Relationship Management team leads and segment leads, WI Sales leadership as well as leaders from SPS and FIL on a regular basis.
