The Role

We’re looking for a talented and experienced Principal Front-End Developer to join our innovative team. In this role, you’ll contribute to the development and architecture of our design system—building scalable, reusable, and accessible UI components that power consistent user experiences across our products. You’ll provide technical leadership, cultivate collaboration, and help drive innovation in tooling, accessibility, and performance. Your contributions will have a multiplier effect—impacting all product squads and every touchpoint in our customer's journey.

The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver with a passion for crafting thoughtful, user-centered solutions. This role requires confidence in designing system-wide architecture, working cross teams with developers, UX designers, business stakeholders, and architects to lead and bring ideas to life.

The Expertise and Skills You Bring

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or equivalent, with at least 8 years of development experience.
  • Expert-level proficiency in web development, and a fundamental understanding of software design, data structures and algorithms is required.
  • Strong Leadership experience, such as experience with setting coding best practices and standards, and providing insightful peer reviews for code changes.
  • Expert-level knowledge of front-end architecture and frameworks using JavaScript, Typescript, Angular 16+, AG-Grid, High Charts, HTML, and CSS/SCSS.
  • Experience with accessibility and usability guidelines, including standards and regulations like WCAG, WAI-ARIA, and IAAP Certifications
  • Strong background in design systems, reusable component libraries, and Figma libraries with an understanding on how to build, maintain, and scale cohesive UI patterns across an organization.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to understand and parse business logic into technical requirements, experienced in an agile scrum environment.
  • Proven ability and ease with iterative development, clear documentation practices, and close collaboration with design teams.
  • Expertise in evaluating and integrating emerging technologies.
  • Previous mentorship experience, guiding technical growth with peers.
