Job Description:

Are you interested in serving the needs of mobile developers across the organization by building a robust and scalable design system and affiliated solutions? Our chapter comprises engineers that work on a different aspect of a design system including User Interface components, design token solutions, theming architecture and best in class DevOps solutions that tie in all the pieces of design system. Design system and its assets are used in wide range of applications and platforms like Fidelity.com, Fidelity Mobile, Netbenefits app and Fidelity internal websites. We're looking for product-aware engineers who are passionate, inquisitive, and responsible individuals, and who can help us on our mission to deliver the best experience to our experience developers. In your role, you will:

  • Help us build scalable and reusable native UI components that will be used across Fidelity’s native applications and experiences
  • Create and distribute UI components for native channels (primarily IOS), work with design tokens and figmas, architect solutions for theming applications through design tokens and collect and report usage metrics
  • Develop, standardize and maintain UI Mobile Automation and Accessibility automation
  • Have the opportunity to understand Design aspect of UI development, and contribute ideas to improve our products as well as develop your skills, learn new technologies and languages
  • Providing technical leadership and mentoring to more junior team members.

The Expertise and Skills You Bring

  • Designing, developing, and maintaining Mobile frameworks and applications in a fast-paced Scrum environment.
  • 6+ years of professional experience developing publicly available iOS apps using Swift 3/4/5
  • 3+ years of professional experience developing SwiftUI applications
  • Verifiable experience as a domain specialist using Swift, SwiftUI and XCode in a large, enterprise environment, preferably as part of a team of iOS engineers
  • Optimally employ DevOps, Automated Testing and Continuous Delivery using technology such as Groovy and Jenkins
  • Knowledge of mobile landscape, architectures, trends and emerging technologies used in creating performant and resilient iOS Apps
  • Your passion in crafting amazing experiences on iOS using Apple’s Human Interface Guidelines and your proven understanding of functional programming and reactive patterns
  • Your advanced Git skills and respective branching strategies
  • Understanding of accessibility features on iOS and building accessible experiences on iOS
