Job Description:

The Role

In this role you will help drive project initiatives across portfolio and cash management, trading, and market surveillance applications used by the Money Market Desk.

As the Principal Product Manager, you will inspire and enable the team to create business critical applications to help our portfolio managers and traders make important investment decisions for our money market funds. You will partner and work closely with the software development team playing a leading role in defining the ‘What’ for the team to design, develop and enhance applications in the Money Market product line.

• Define and communicate a clear product strategy that guides the team’s priorities and informs decision-making

• Build strong, collaborative relationships with business and technology partners to ensure alignment and accelerate progress.

• Support and empower the team by working closely with members to prioritize work, manage timelines, and proactively remove obstacles to deliver meaningful customer and business outcomes.

The Expertise and Skills You Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or similar.

• MBA or Masters is a plus

• Overall 8+ years of experience in delivering technology solutions

• 2+ years of experience leading a development team

• 2+ years of experience directing a team of onshore and offshore members

• Experience working in the financial industry and product experience is a plus

• Strong written and verbal communication skills, enabling you to effectively engage the business partners- investment professionals, understand their needs, and translate them into clear requirements and strategic direction for technical solutions

• A deep commitment to learning and understanding user needs to inform high-quality product outcomes

• Self-motivation, drive, and a strong focus on client satisfaction and delivering results

• Proven ability to lead and support teams

• Quick learner with a collaborative mindset and a strong team-oriented approach

Asset Management Technology is an integral partner for Asset Management to deliver innovative, scalable, industry-leading investment tools that enables the business to achieve competitive advantage globally.

The Money Market Technology Team, is a group within Fidelity Investment Asset Management Technology division that designs, develops and supports Portfolio & Cash Management, Trading, and Market Surveillance software applications for the Fixed Income Money Market business. Fidelity’s Money Market Business is the market leader in managing over $1.5+ Trillion in customer assets.
