As a Full Stack Developer, you will be applying your software development and automation skills to develop, test, deploy, maintain and improve record keeping for our Fidelity Investments Life Insurance (FILI) business. This person will be a hands-on engineer with well-honed design and development skills. This individual will be accountable for all the deliveries of the delivery team.

The Expertise You Have

  • Full-stack development experience using Java, Tomcat, Spring Boot, Angular, Node and JavaScript
  • Experience integrating with Service Oriented Architecture (REST) using Express / Node/SpringBoot/Dropwizard
  • 5 to 10 years of hands-on experience with designing and building large scale applications
  • Strong knowledge in application development with micro architectures.
  • Knowledge of end-to-end DevSecOps automation with CI and CD pipelines including Unit, Component, Functional, Performance, and Security test automation
  • Knowledge of mock frameworks and service virtualization
  • Proven experience in Oracle database and PL-SQL
  • Ability to provide automation solutions to support all possible data scenarios
  • Certifications in, and working experience with, AWS

  • Accountable for consistent delivery of functional software – sprint to sprint, release to release
  • Excellence in software development practices and procedures
  • Participates in application level architecture
  • Develops original and creative technical solutions to on-going development efforts
  • Responsible for QA readiness of software deliverables (end-to-end tests, unit tests, automation)
  • Responsible for supporting implementation of moderate-scope projects or major initiatives
  • Works on complex assignments and often multiple phases of a project
Most roles at Fidelity are Hybrid, requiring associates to work onsite every other week (all business days, M-F) in a Fidelity office. This does not apply to Remote or fully Onsite roles.
