
Principal Software Engineer (Java, REST, Azure)
Job Description:
Fidelity Investments Workplace Investing (WI) organization is seeking an experienced engineer who will play a key role in building new capabilities in the cloud. You will leverage modern agile development practices and architecture patterns. You will be working closely with diverse team of technologists who believe in power of innovation and collaboration and are motivated by operating at fast speed.
The Expertise and Skills You Bring
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in a technology related field (e.g. Computer Science, Engineering, etc.) required.
- 12+ years of software development experience
- Strong knowledge of Java and Spring
- Experience building REST APIs
- Experience with Spring Data JPA
- Experience with public cloud-based technologies such as Azure
- Understanding and experience working with CI/CD processes and tools such as Jenkins
- Passion for engineering excellence and continuous improvement
- Strong analytical, technical, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to learn and experiment with new technologies and patterns

The Team
You will be part of the technology team in Stock Plan Services business unit that administers equity compensation programs on behalf of public and private companies offering various compensations programs such as: Employee Stock Purchase Plans, Restricted Stock Awards/Units, Stock Option Plans, Stock Appreciation Rights and Performance based Awards.
