Job Summary

The UK Health and Wellness mission is to improve and maintain the health and well-being of the University community – employees, retirees and their spouses. This position plays a key role in advancing a culture of well‑being across the university and UK HealthCare by leading the Well‑Being Champion (WBC) Initiative, providing program direction, onboarding, and ongoing support to champions who implement well-being initiatives within their colleges/units/departments. This position consults with colleges, units and clinics to assess needs and deliver tailored presentations, retreats, and well‑being experiences that support faculty and staff.

In this role, the individual manages daily operations, event coordination, funding processes, program evaluations, and data reporting to ensure high‑quality, evidence‑based well‑being programming.

The position also serves as a liaison to UK HealthCare clinics, supporting provider education, referral coordination, and onboarding of new Exercise is Medicine (EIM) sites.

Skills / Knowledge / Abilities

The ideal candidate will possess motivational interviewing skills; Experience with Microsoft Office applications including Adobe Suite, Excel, PowerPoint, and Qualtrics.

Preferred Education/Experience

Master’s Degree in Health Education/Promotion, Public Health, Health Communications or other health related field.

Experience working with healthcare providers and various units. Experience with audio/video editing software.
