Job Summary
The Department of Dietetics and Human Nutrition (DHN) in the Martin-Gatton College of Agriculture, Food and Environment, seeking a dynamic, detail orientated Program Coordinator to service as their Lab Manager.
The DHN Lab Manager is a critical role in managing the daily operations of The DHN Lab and coordinating designated projects and programs.
About the Role:
The DHN Lab Manager oversees the day-to-day operations of the DHN Lab and serves as the primary point of contact for lab clients and student employees. This role also supports student success by coordinating experiential learning opportunities and serving as a subject matter expert during community-based rotations for the Accelerated Coordinated Program (ACP) in Dietetics.
The ideal candidate demonstrates strong organizational and multitasking skills to effectively manage lab operations, schedules, and concurrent projects. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential for engaging with clients, students, faculty, and staff. Proficiency with scheduling platforms and the Microsoft Office Suite is required to maintain accurate records and ensure efficient workflows. The DHN Lab Manager should also be adept at mentoring students and collaborating with faculty and staff to advance educational and research initiatives.

Excellent skills in planning, organization, time management, critical thinking, problem solving, mentorship, and interpersonal communications. Excellent skills in Highly proficient with all MS Office applications, familiarity with body composition testing equipment.

- MA, RD, experience mentoring college students in leadership development
- Driver’s license preferred
