Job Description
Job Summary:
The Project Administrator is responsible for identifying, leading, and implementing pilot projects across multiple teams responsible for HGSE’s course materials and CANVAS work.
Job-Specific Responsibilities:
- Analyze data and identify themes to inform developing the pilot project that the COP team will conduct with selected faculty and their course design in the spring.
- Train on Library Reserves Tool [LRT] with Gutman team and Harvard Library team.
- Support course material work in the Gutman Library
- Provide backup course design and LRT support across teams as needed.
- Collaborate with the team to provide support for drafting and implementing the pilot parameters that form the core connections across units: Faculty Affairs, FSS, Library, IT, and TLL.
- Help pilot project faculty, academic/FSS staff, and teaching teams understand the pilot’s goals and triage their concerns – connecting cross-functional responses across HGSE units.
- Develop and supports training of best practices and carries forward the collaborative nature of the work.
- Support J-term and spring courses’ digital reserves processing. Supports ideation for LRT process improvement.
- Monitor and advise on continued implementation of COP pilot with planned check-ins and support for pilot participants, and early analysis of ongoing pilot participant feedback. May include review of data captured from Canvas and LRT.
- Develop further consideration of process improvement and drafting any new workflow documentation in preparation for summer work, supporting the fall digital reserves processing that requires communication with faculty and teaching teams beyond the pilot participants.
- Provide continued organization and management for pilot teams.
This is a 6 month from date of hire term position.

Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
- 5+ years relevant experience. Knowledge of Canvas and HGSE’s course support processes.
Additional Qualifications and Skills:
- Excellent communications skills
- Previous experience developing and delivering training tools and resources to diverse groups with a range of needs.

Work Format Details
This is a position that is based at a Harvard campus location with some remote work options available. Additional details will be discussed during the interview process. All remote work must be performed within one of the Harvard Registered Payroll States, which currently includes Massachusetts, Connecticut, Maine, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, Vermont, Georgia, Illinois, Maryland, New Jersey, New York, Virginia, Washington, and California (CA for exempt positions only). Certain visa types and funding sources may limit work location. Individuals must meet work location sponsorship requirements prior to employment.
Salary Grade and Ranges
