The Role
As an Associate Operations Specialist, you will be responsible for course and class logistics, tracking and roster management, and overall departmental administrative support. You will leverage your knowledge of Learning Platforms to implement dynamic learning experiences, continuously improve training implementation processes, and enhance the learner experience. You will build relationships with our Talent and Learning Partners and our Program Management team members to collaborate on deliverables that span across groups.
The Expertise and Skills You Bring
- Bachelor's Degree
- Experience with a learning management system (LMS)
- Experience with Microsoft Excel (including knowledge of Pivot Tables) to present basic reporting data to business partners
- Experience with hosting and facilitating virtual meetings, including managing access, creating, and delivering polls, and organizing break out rooms (Zoom experience a plus)
- Effective communication skills (written, oral, and presentation)
- Demonstrate excellent project management skills and well-thought-out decision making
- Ability to establish rapport with senior leaders, managers, vendors, and clients to gather requirements, assess needs, and communicate planned solutions
- Ability to multi-task, manage your workload, and maintain flexibility in a work environment with changing priorities
The Value you Deliver
- Training Delivery - Deliver consulting services to Technology Learning and Development in support of LMS; includes gaining an understanding of the customer's needs to recommend a training implementation solution.
- Learning Platform Knowledge - Provide technical troubleshooting and assistance to LMS users in navigating and completing training, escalating issues to Corporate Technology group when needed; communicate issues and solutions to applicable internal users and internal customers, including the timely management of the Ticket Queue.
- Relationship Management - Cultivate a broad network of relationships through mutual assistance, support and sharing information across Business Units for the setting up and maintaining training activities and establishing best practices.
The Team
The Enterprise Technology Learning & Development Operations team supports both the Strategic and the Talent and Learning BU Specific Training initiatives for Technology associates across the Firm. We provide Learning Experience paths for associates as well as Data and Analysis of Learning Goals for Sr. Leadership. This role is integral in creating a seamless experience for Technology Learners and Managers as they seek to grow their skills and understand their progress in Learning
Dynamic Working – Post Pandemic
Fidelity’s working model blends the best of working offsite with maximizing time together in person to meet associate and business needs. Currently, most hybrid roles require associates to work onsite all business days of one assigned week per four-week period (beginning in September 2024, the requirement will be two full assigned weeks).
