Position: Project Engineering Intern (Summer 2027)

Location: Valencia, CA

Major(s): Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related field.

Internship Schedule: May - August 2027, full-time, 40 hours per week

Responsibilities

  • Support project engineers in the planning and execution of aerospace and industrial programs.
  • Assist in tracking project schedules, milestones, action items, and deliverables.
  • Help maintain project documentation, including project plans, meeting minutes, risk registers, and status reports.
  • Participate in cross-functional team meetings and assist with follow-up activities.
  • Support project status reporting by gathering and analyzing project performance data.
  • Assist with project planning activities, including schedule updates and resource tracking.
  • Learn and support requirements management processes, including documentation and traceability activities.
  • Help identify and track project risks, issues, and opportunities.
  • Support customer and internal project reviews by preparing materials and coordinating logistics.
  • Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, quality, supply chain, and operations teams to support project objectives.
  • Assist with New Product Introduction (NPI) activities and product development projects.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives aimed at improving project execution and team efficiency.
  • Conduct research and analysis to support project management and business objectives.
  • Complete special projects and assignments as needed.


Qualifications



  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related field.
  • Strong interest in project management, engineering, manufacturing, or aerospace industries.
