Job Description and Requirements
Randolph-Brooks Federal Credit Union is currently searching for an experienced and talented Project Manager to join our amazing Project Management team!
The Project Manager will have the ability to work a hybrid schedule (remote/onsite) after a period of training (time frame may vary). Training will take place at the RBFCU Administrative Service Center: 1 Ikea-RBFCU Pkwy, Live Oak, Texas 78233.
All applicants must reside within the state of Texas and have the capability of performing all of the work from their home in Texas.
To successfully work from home, employees must have access to a minimum internet connection as noted by RBFCU.
• Must have a reliable home internet provider and the ability to hard wire a connection directly to modem (Ethernet cable provided).
• Must be able to provide a workspaces at home that is safe, suitable for work, and within a distraction free environment
Working under direct supervision, the Project Manager will provide servant leadership for a variety of strategic project types to coordinate, plan, lead, execute, and finalize projects according to approved scope, deadlines, and budgets. This includes acquiring resources and coordinating the efforts of team members and third-party contractors or consultants in order to deliver projects according to plan and strategic alignment. The Project Manager, will work closely with the Project Leadership team and Project Manager Team Lead to define the project’s objectives and oversee quality control throughout the project’s life cycle.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities:
- Serve as predictive Project Manager or Agile Scrum Master for cross-functional teams to achieve approved project scope and deadlines on strategic initiatives.
- Establish and manage the project plan, schedules, project resources (internal and external), and requirements (internal and external)ensuring alignment with organization objectives.
- Document and actively manage project issues resolution, risks mitigation, and changes to scope, timelines, and/or budget.
- Diligently serve on behalf of the project team to remove obstacles that prevent them from successfully delivering the project.
- Prepare and communicate progress and project status report for stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Provide monthly executive project health updates.
- Ensure the creation and project team approval of documentation to enable implementation and transition to maintenance support.
- Conduct mid- and post-project evaluations (i.e. Sprint retrospectives and project lessons learned).
- Assist the Project Management team with strategic project coverage when team members are out of office.
- Assist the Project Management team in Project Portfolio Management (PPM) system administration.
- Shadow team members to gain knowledge and experience.

Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum of 1 year of recent project management experience
Skills, Certifications, and Licensing:
- Foundational Project Management process skills
- Foundational leadership skills
- Foundational interpersonal, organization, and presentation skills
- Professional verbal and written communication skills
- Strong adaptability to change
- Microsoft Office proficiency
- Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) certification completion within 6 months of attaining position
- PPM Administration training completion within 6 months of attaining position
Preferred:
- 1 year predictive or Agile Scrum project participation or experience
