Job Summary

The University of Kentucky Evaluation Center is seeking a Qualitative Research Transcriptionist to assist with transcription and organization of interview and focus group recordings from education and community-based evaluation projects across Kentucky.

This position offers valuable experience in qualitative research and data management. Students will gain hands-on exposure to real-world evaluation work and contribute to projects that inform improvement in schools and communities.

Responsibilities:
  • Transcribe and proofread recorded interviews and meetings.
  • Maintain confidentiality and follow IRB/data protection standards.
  • Organize and manage audio and text files accurately.
  • Communicate regularly with project supervisors.
