
Quality Assurance (QA) Coordinator (Remote)

We are currently looking for a Quality Assurance (QA) Coordinator to join our growing team!
As a QA Coordinator, in the healthcare industry, your primary responsibility will be to ensure delivery of high-quality services and products that meet the established standards and regulatory requirements. You will maintain quality systems, processes, and procedures. Your role will be crucial in promoting patient safety, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement within the healthcare organization.

Responsibilities and Duties:
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
Quality Management Systems:
- Follow our quality management systems, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory standards, such as HIPAA, FDA, or other applicable regulations.
- Monitor and assess the effectiveness of quality systems through audits, inspections, and performance metrics.
- Identify areas for improvement and lead initiatives to enhance quality processes, workflows, and documentation.
Compliance and Regulatory Affairs:
- Stay up to date with healthcare regulations and industry standards to ensure compliance within the organization.
- Process compliance correction requests as needed.
- Support regulatory inspections and audits by preparing necessary documentation and ensuring adherence to guidelines.
Process Improvement and Risk Management:
- Identify process gaps, quality risks, and areas for improvement within healthcare operations.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement by driving quality initiatives and best practices across the organization.
Training and Education:
- Works with our training team to develop and deliver training programs on quality assurance principles, regulatory compliance, and best practices to enhance staff knowledge and awareness.
- Provide guidance and support to departments in implementing quality standards and processes.
Collaboration and Communication:
- Communicate quality-related metrics, trends, and issues to senior management and relevant stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Has worked at tango in a rotation, qualification or staffing role for a minimum of 1 year, preferred.
- Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations, such as HIPAA, FDA, or other applicable standards.
- Experience in developing and implementing quality management systems and processes.
- Proficient in conducting audits, inspections, and root cause analysis.
- Capable of following an issue through to its conclusion.
- Is detail oriented and displays good organizational skills.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and quality.
- Capable of recognizing opportunities and communicating recommendations and solutions.
- Must be able to work at a fast pace managing large amounts of responsibilities while maintaining attention to details.
- Ability to convey a positive and professional image with all tango members.
- Is customer service oriented with good oral and written communication skills.
- Is self-directed, flexible, and cooperative.
- Highly self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision.
- Must be able to assist other departments as needed, even departments where they may not be a Subject Matter Expert
- Must be flexible and willing to work weekends and Holidays.
- Must have reliable internet service or able to commute to the office.
- Has basic computer knowledge and experience including Microsoft Word, Excel & typing skills.
- Must be able to sit at desk in front of computer for long periods of time.
