Job Summary
Research Fellows at the University of Kentucky are expected to engage in research and scholarly activities that support faculty-led, departmental, or sponsored research projects. Responsibilities will primarily involve research-related work rather than teaching or administrative support.
Typical duties may include:
- Commit to ~25-30 hours/week
- Conducting literature reviews and background research
- Assisting with research design and project methodology
- Collecting, organizing, and managing research data
- Performing laboratory, field, clinical, or archival research activities
- Analyzing and interpreting data
- Supporting manuscript, presentation, report, or grant preparation
- Participating in research team meetings
- Coordinating research-related communications and project activities
- Supervising undergraduate researchers on research tasks, as appropriate
