Position Summary: Do you love kids, smiling families, and being the friendly face that sets the tone for a great visit? Revere Health Premier Pediatrics is looking for a Medical Receptionist who brings positive energy, strong medical front office skills, and a heart for pediatrics to our growing practice. As the first point of contact for our patients, you'll help ensure they receive excellent service from the moment they call or walk through our doors.
Essential Job Functions: *Welcome families with warmth, patience, and a smile *Check in patients and complete demographic & insurance intake *Verify insurance eligibility and benefits *Answer phones, schedule appointments, and help keep the day running smoothly *Collect co-pays and process patient payments *Communicate with patients through phone, fax, and text messaging *Maintain a professional and positive patient experience *Manage multiple priorities in a high-volume clinic setting *Collaborate with providers and team members to support efficient clinic operations *Help create a calm, fun, kid-friendly experience for patients and parents
Qualifications: *High school diploma or equivalent *Minimum of 3 years of medical receptionist and customer service experience in a healthcare setting *Excellent communication and interpersonal skills *Professional phone etiquette and customer service abilities *Typing speed of 40+ words per minute *Strong organizational skills and attention to detail *Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment
Hours: *Schedule & Availability (Important!) *This is a year-round, full-time position (minimum 30 hours/week) and is benefits eligible. *Must be able to commit to a stable, ongoing schedule and cannot have conflicts with other long-term commitments *Must be available for occasional evening clinics: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday | 5:00–7:00 PM *Must be available for occasional Saturday clinics, rotating with other receptionists Clinic Hours Monday–Friday 8:00 AM–5:00 PM Occasional evening clinics (T, W, Th) 5:00–7:00 PM Occasional Saturday clinics (rotating) 9:00 AM–12:00 PM
