Position Summary: This is an exciting opportunity to work in our fast-paced Family Medicine Clinic as a Customer Care/Medical Receptionist. A successful candidate must maintain a professional image in the office and in all communications. Must be able to multi-task while maintaining good patient and staff relations and providing outstanding customer service and care.
Essential Job Functions: Facilitates checking in and assisting patients Maintains efficient and effective workflow Verifies patient identification, information and orders tests requested by providers Registers and enters patient demographic and insurance information other duties as assigned
Qualifications: Outstanding customer service, organizational skills, and attention to detail. Must be a self-starter, a team player, dependable, friendly, and professional and be able to multi-task and work efficiently while remaining calm and productive. Basic computer skills and keyboarding competency Previous medical experience would be preferred but not required.
Hours: This position will be for two days each week. Our clinic hours are 9:00 am - 6:00 pm Monday - Thursday and 9:00 am - 5:00 pm Friday.
