Position Summary

Lead team in maximizing sales and marketing opportunities in the Arizona market. Oversee sales activities, planning, budget analysis and management, distributor scorecard and capability. Drive execution in market excellence to deliver sales & profit goals. Residence location: Metro Phoenix area.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Conduct ongoing market and competitive analysis to identify future growth and value opportunities
  • Partner with Marketing to analyze and optimize all distribution channels
  • Evaluate key programs, measure effectiveness, and scale successful initiatives
  • Recruit, develop, coach, and manage performance of direct reports
  • Develop beverage alcohol insights to drive volume and profit growth
  • Lead On- and Off-Premise strategies across chains, independents, and regional accounts
  • Manage budgets and financials, including local marketing funds and T&E
  • Own distributor relationships end-to-end, including monthly business reviews and action planning
  • Ensure optimal inventory levels to support programming and long-term growth
  • Lead pricing strategy across company, distributor, and retail margins
  • Execute national account programs locally and respond to competitive threats

Knowledge & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 10+ years of consumer goods experience; spirits and/or three-tier distribution preferred
  • Proven sales leadership with a track record of delivering results
  • Strong distributor and account relationship management skills
  • Demonstrated people leadership and development experience
  • Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and sales reporting systems (e.g., Diver)
  • Strong influencing, negotiation, time management, and presentation skills
  • Valid state driver’s license required
