Remote Help Desk Technician
Grand Traverse Internal and Family Medicine, P.C is seeking a talented Remote Help Desk Technician for a full-time position. This role will report to Jane Rolf in the Traverse department and is a remote role that could be performed anywhere in the U.S.
Job Description
The Remote Help Desk Technician will provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to end-users. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, ensure timely resolution of technical issues, and deliver excellent customer service in a remote environment.
Key Responsibilities
● Provide remote technical support to end-users, troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues to ensure timely resolution.
● Respond to help desk tickets, emails, and calls, prioritizing and escalating issues as necessary to meet service level agreements.
● Document all support interactions, solutions, and updates in the help desk system to maintain accurate records.
● Assist in the setup, configuration, and maintenance of user accounts, devices, and software applications.
● Educate and guide users on best practices for utilizing technology and resolving common issues independently.
● Collaborate with other IT team members to identify and implement improvements to support processes and tools.
● Stay updated on emerging technologies and trends to provide informed recommendations and support to end-users.
Qualifications
● Associate’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
● Proven experience as a Help Desk Technician or in a similar technical support role.
● Strong knowledge of computer systems, networks, and troubleshooting techniques.
● Proficiency in remote support tools and software.
● Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
● Strong communication and customer service abilities.
● Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
Compensation
Compensation for this role will be competitive and commensurate with experience. In addition to a base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives. Final compensation details will be discussed during the interview process.
